I just want you to know that Jesus loves you
just the way you are, right where you are. It
does not matter what you have done. I don't
want you to feel that you are unworthy of the
love of Jesus. Your sin is not so horrible or so
bad that He cannot forgive you for all of them.
All of us have sinned. There is no perfect
person other than Jesus Christ Himself. Don't
ever feel like you are unloveable. You ARE worthy of His love and He wants you to come to Him. The
bible tells us that the wages of sin is death (Romans 6:23), which means that the consequence to sin is dying to the eternal life that Jesus has promised to those who follow Him. If you are a smoker, a drinker, an adulterer, it doesn't matter. Society puts labels on us, Jesus doesn't it.
If you are ready to make this much needed change in your life, repeat AND believe these words:
"Dear God, I am so sorry for the way I have been living without you. I now recognize and acknowledge that I need to make a change immediately. I believe with all of my heart and soul, that you are the Son of God. I believe that you loved me so much that you took my sins upon the cross and you died for me. You did it, for me. I don't know anyone that loves me that much to die for me, except you. I confess that I am a sinner and you, being Jesus Christ, can save me. I confess all of my sins to you and I surrender all to you. Please come into my life and make me a new creation in you. Please come into my life and save me so I can help build up your Kingdom. In the name of Jesus I pray, Amen."
Guess what? You're now saved! The real work begins. First and foremost, I urge you to be prayerful and to seek out a church home if you do not belong to one, and to worship in church as much as possible. I also urge you to find a bible that you can understand. There are many versions of the Bible being printed today. Take the time and research what will fit your needs. This ministry will primarily use the NASB version of the Bible which means New American Standard Bible. Lastly, please refer back to this blog for encouragement, prayer or anything else you need. I would love to hear from you! I am so happy about your new life in Jesus Christ! HALLELUJAH!
